The Athletic: Nottingham Forest working to sign Neco Williams from Liverpool (reliability: 5 stars)

 has identified the wide defensive areas as the ones to improve the most before the start of the 

The Reds value Williams at around £20m and recently rejected an offer made by Nottingham for him.

Liverpool have made it clear that they will only accept an offer in that range for the young right-back.

Williams spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham and doesn’t have a role at Anfield anymore after

The recently promoted club made an offer of £11m + £4m in add-ons for Neco but it was deemed too little by the Reds.

Liverpool reportedly value Neco at around £20m and will accept a bid in that region. 

The report adds that Forest are preparing another bid and will make its second offer soon.

Conor Bradley joins Bolton Wanderers on season-long loan

, Liverpool have announced that teenager 

 will go to Bolton Wanderers on a season-long loan.

Bradley joined Liverpool's Academy set-up in September 2019 and has made five first-team appearances to date, making his debut last season in a Carabao Cup tie.

The 18-year-old operates as a right-back but will understandably have little to no game time next season with 

 and Ramsay ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Reds are hoping he can have consistent game time in League One.
