On February 1, 2021, Liverpool unexpectedly signed Preston centre-back Ben Davies in what clearly was a panic move after Joel Matip joined Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez on the list of long-term absentees.
Less than 18 months later, Davies is still yet to play a game for Liverpool - and we might safely say it's not likely to happen.
Still, he attracts some interest from the Championship clubs after a decent loan spell with Sheffield United last season.
As per Sky Sports, Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers are interested in the 26-year-old who's expected to leave the club permanently.
Liverpool will be looking to get a profit on Davies who was signed for an initial fee of £500,000 with £1.1m in add-ons that presumably were never triggered.
