Jude Bellingham, 19 years old, a midfielder in Dortmund, joined 2020, and his market value is €80m.  Pedri joined Barca 2020 and his market value marked the same value as Bellingham.  Both are now key players in their clubs and really doing great.  

On the other side, Harvey Elliott, also 19 years old, joined Liverpool 2021, he plays a right winger, his market value is €22m. Elliott picked a serious injury that kept him from playing almost the last season. Putting him in comparison with the aforementioned players is terms of effectiveness and performance is acceptable.  However I like to compare players in the same position.  

Curtis Jones is now 21 years old, a central midfielder, and his market value is €28m.  His market value topped €30m at some time but now getting less.  He is not a key player with Liverpool and he needs a lot to improve to impress and be a key player with LFC.

Conclusion: Comparing midfielders; Lijnders is right to select Pedri as most influential in Barca, but he should have mentioned Bellingham too in Dortmund.  Both players await them a bright future in football.  Jones need to work hard on himself to improve his market value given also that he is two years older than Pedri and Bellingham.

Well, barca is probably the most corrupt and bankrott club in europe too, so toptalents will be needed to cash in on to get out of that slump
