'Won everything': Some Liverpool fans back Klopp as Chelsea hires new manager
There are Liverpool fans who are still solidly behind Jurgen Klopp despite the utter humiliation the Reds experienced at Napoli on Wednesday.
Here's what they're saying on Twitter:
Kevin Palmer: "Liverpool's net spend in the transfer market this summer is about the same as Chelsea are paying to get Graham Potter out of Brighton. This highlights the challenge Jurgen Klopp faces working with the current Anfield owners."
John Parlanti: "There is only one problem at Liverpool at the moment and its FSG. Klopp even went public and admitted we needed a top midfielder. Our net spend is what Chelsea are about to pay Brighton for Potter. Our owners don’t deserve Klopp, another season is going to be wasted due to them."
Curtis Buys: "Whoever is saying Klopp out should never support any sport what is happening to the current club is the owners' fault not Klopp they haven't been spending since they arrived Klopp has been working miracles."
Kieran: "Whoever wants Klopp out, I'd advise you to support some other club. Klopp won everything he could for us. I know his decision making aren't great especially (Milner 2022) but I believe he can turn things around. We just need the mentality back running like last season. Klopp in."
Adam: "Last night happened it’s done, Wolves Saturday and Anfield need to be fucking booming! Remind these players who they’re playing for and support them for all they’ve given us. Klopp and the lads will sort this."
Chelsea have not been as patient as Liverpool. They fired Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday morning and have just announced the hiring of their new manager - Graham Potter from Brighton.
