Jurgen Klopp charged for 'improper conduct' in City game

Jurgen Klopp has been charged by the FA for alleged 'improper conduct' after the red card he was shown in the Manchester City win.

In the 86th minute of the match, Klopp was fuming at the assistant referee after Bernardo Silva's blatant foul on Mo Salah went unnoticed.

Instead of punishing Silva, referee Anthony Taylor showed a red card to the Liverpool boss.

The German admitted that his reaction was over the top but insisted that he did not disrespect the official, Sky Sports reports.

Klopp has until Friday to respond to the charges which means he should be on the touchline for the West Ham game on Wednesday.
