"In the blink of an eye, easy!" Curtis Jones told the official Liverpool website when asked how long it took him to sign a new contract with his boyhood club.
"When I was told I didn’t even have a second thought. There’s no other place that I’d rather be and that I see myself, so I’m happy to be here and I’m happy to give my all again."
He added: "I think if I was at a different club as well, my goal and aim and dream would always be to come here and play.
"But I’m here now, I’ve been here since I was six, I’ve gone all the way through.
"I’ve supported the team for the whole of my life and especially now with how the team is and the coaching staff around me, I just feel that it’s the perfect place for me and again, as I said, I can’t wait to see what the future holds."
The Athletic reported that Jones signed a new contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2027.
The 21-year-old had only signed his previous deal a couple of years ago, so this is a significant show of trust in the academy graduate from the club.
