Mo Salah shares hug with Sergio Ramos four years after Champions League final injury

The 2018 Champions League final was a heartbreak for Liverpool and personally for Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian who had scored 44 goals that season suffered an injury after a collision with Sergio Ramos. Plenty of fans suspected that this was the Real Madrid defender's intention to hurt Salah.

Despite that, on Thursday when they met in Dubai for the Globe Soccer Awards, Salah and Ramos shared a friendly hug that was caught on camera.

He then exchanged handshakes with Zlatan Ibrahimovic before all three posed for photos

Salah carried home the TikTok Fans' Player of the Year award from Dubai, but he was beaten to the main prize by Karim Benzema.

At the same ceremony, Ramos received the Best Defender of All Time award.
