Liverpool's interest in signing Jude Bellingham is genuine as the midfield is one position they absolutely have to reinforce next summer.

However, Bellingham is a pricey asset and according to the Telegraph's Chris Bascome Liverpool will not be able to afford Bellingham as he's valued at more than £100 million.

Unless Liverpool finds new rich investors or sell a star player, the valuation puts them out of the race, argues the report.

If Liverpool can't afford the 19-year-old, his most likely destination will be Real Madrid, who have also shown serious interest in the player.

As things stand at Liverpool, FSG are keen on selling the club if they can get a suitable offer.
