Zabaleta praises Liverpool-linked Fernandez, makes prediction about his future

Enzo Fernandez has emerged as one of the players who Liverpool could sign in the summer.

Former Argentina defensive midfielder Pablo Zabaleta has now tipped Fernandez to leave Benfica for a bigger club in the summer.

"He’s been really good in both games, he’s been one of the best players for Argentina," Zabaleta was quoted.

"He’s only 21 but he’s been fantastic and I think next summer, he will go to a big club.

"He’s got vision, his passing and shooting ability is great. He can play as a number four but also as a number eight."

Liverpool are not the only big club being linked with Fernandez, Barcelona, Manchester City and even PSG are said to be monitoring the player closely.
