According to Liverpool Echo's Paul Gorst, Liverpool might not be finished with transfers in January - even though it's unlikely to be as major as a deal for Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes.
"I still think Liverpool will do something, yes," Gorst said.
"I am not sure it will be a particularly major deal, however. Even interest in Matheus Nunes is more geared towards the end of the season as he can't play for the club this season having already turned out for Wolves and Sporting."
Liverpool have already signed forward Cody Gakpo and are now likely to focus their efforts on bolstering their midfield.
Nunes is one of the players linked with Liverpool since last summer - but all the indications are that even if the Reds are working on this deal right now, it's likely to be a summer move.
