Most prolific attacking trios in Europe revealed — Liverpool in top three

Transfermarkt has presented a graphic showing the five most prolific attacking trios in Europe this season — and Liverpool are one of two Premier League clubs featuring in it.

The Reds are third thanks to Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino who scored a total of 36 goals across all competitions so far.

The most prolific front three is one from PSG, with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Leo Messi scoring 47 goals. Just behind them are Man City with 44 goals — largely through Erling Haaland's scoring prowess.

Liverpool are followed by Bayern whose front three includes ex-Red Sadio Mane with 11 goals this season so far. RB Leipzig are closing the top five.
