Is Van Dijk going through a rough season or has he declined?

Virgil van Dijk this season is a shadow of his former self. His defending has been criticised and even ridiculed.

It's obviously wrong to put Liverpool's problems this season on the Dutchman alone — the whole team has been struggling. However, it's clear he's not a player he used to be.
