'You take notice': Everton player speaks out on reported Liverpool interest in him

Jarrad Branthwaite has been linked with a summer move to Liverpool. The 6ft 5in (1.95) cm centre-back, who currently plays at PSV on loan from Everton, has opened up on the speculation.

"I think when all of those clubs are interested and watching your games, it's gonna be one of them where you take notice. But for me it's just about playing the games," the Englishman told the Mirror.

“The first half of the season, I wasn't playing as many as I wanted, but now I'm just fully focussed on doing that and performing the best I can."

Branthwaite has made 27 appearances and scored four goals for PSV this season. At Everton since 2020, the young defender has featured 13 times for the Toffees, even scoring against Chelsea in a 1-1 draw on December 16, 2021.
