Diogo Jota's name was in the rumours lately, with Newcastle reportedly interested in the forward.
It has coincided with what some believe to be a tough spell for the Portuguese which led to questions over whether Liverpool could cash in on him as they're looking to raise funds for the summer transfer campaign.
However, as per James Pearce, Liverpool are not actively concerned about Jota's form.
"There’s an appreciation that he’s had some wretched misfortune with injuries and needs time to regain rhythm," the report reads.
With Roberto Firmino going at the end of the season, it stands to reason that Jota should be considered as one of his potential replacements as the false nine - along with Cody Gakpo who impressed in that role in a few games since arriving in January.
