Liverpool fan Laurie on Twitter claims she would 'gladly' take back Sadio Mane after reports in Germany suggested that Bayern Munich are beginning to lose fate in the Senegalese forward.
“I’d gladly take Mane back,” Laurie writes on Twitter.
"Bayern are disappointed in him because of his poor form, but you’d want him back where he’ll not decline even more."
Liverpool fan account DaveOCKOP also commented, "I'd gladly take Mane back."
Writing for Sport 1, journalist Kerry Hau said: “Mané was one of the weakest Bayern stars against the Werkself!
"His horror record in 45 minutes: eight ball contacts and one dribbling, which he even lost. An invisible appearance, with which not only he himself was totally dissatisfied.
"Coach Nagelsmann and those responsible expect a lot more from Africa’s footballer of the year, which cost at least 32 million euros!
"At first glance, an obvious explanation for the Mané low: He was out for three and a half months due to injury and even had to be operated on because of inflammation in the fibula head.
"Since then he has seemed unfit, looking for and rarely winning one-on-one duels – which, as is rumoured in the team environment, is said to have been noticed several times in training.
"Mane always works diligently without the ball, but in possession, he hardly brings any added value to the team at the moment.”
The article by Sport 1 seems harsh on Mane given he's only recently returned from a serious injury.
