'We let you down': Devastated Salah tells fans as Liverpool miss out on Champions League

United's points tally of 72 is unable to be bettered by Jurgen Klopp's side (66) regardless of the outcome of their visit to relegated Southampton on Sunday. Newcastle United (70) qualified for the Champions League earlier in the week.
