Sadio Mane wins Bundesliga in his first season with Bayern Munich, was unused sub in final game

On Saturday, the Bundesliga season ended in a most dramatic yet quite inevitable fashion as Bayern Munich leapfrogged Borussia Dortmund for the title.

Jurgen Klopp's former team only managed to draw with Mainz while Bayern defeated Cologne 2-1 thanks to an 89th-minute goal from Jamal Musiala.

Among the players who received the winner's medal was Sadio Mane, the former Liverpool star who wins the league title in his first season away from Anfield.

Unfortunately for him, Mane only appeared on the pitch for the awards ceremony today as he was an unused sub in the game.

The 31-year-old did not have a stellar campaign with Bayern, scoring only seven goals and providing five assists in the Bundesliga.
