Liverpool 5th, Everton stay up: final Premier League standings

The 2022/23 Premier League season has finished. Liverpool are fifth and will play in the Europa League next season.

Man City have won the title, Arsenal, Newcastle and Man United join them in qualifying for the Champions League football next season.

Brighton will play in the Europa League alongside Liverpool, while Aston Villa will feature in the Conference League.

Southampton, Leeds and Leicester and are all going down to the Championship, with Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town taking their place in the Premier League.

Everton have escaped relegation this time, having beaten Bournemouth on the final day of the season. Chelsea have finished in 12th place despite spending over £600m on new players over the past two transfer windows.
