Neil Jones, a top source for all things Liverpool, confirms that the Reds are very interested in signing Alexis Mac Allister, Mason Mount and Ryan Gravenberch.
These three have been linked with a move to the Reds for quite a long time but there are also a few other midfielders the Reds are interested in. Here they are, according to Jones.
Nicolo Barella (Inter Milan). Liverpool have admired the Italian for a long time and could try to sign him as Inter could be forced to sell him this summer due to financial problems.
Jacob Ramsey (Aston Villa). A bit unlikely the Reds will go for the Villa man as it would take a lot of money to convince Unai Emery to sell one of their best assets. But Liverpool do like him a lot.
Khephren Thuram (Nice). An energetic midfielder Liverpool need so much to fill the Gini Wijnaldum void — and 'there is definitely interest on the Reds' part'.
Teun Koopmeiners (Atalanta). Liverpool scouts have recommended the club to sign the Dutchman.
Matheus Nunes (Wolves). Liverpool have been long-term admirers of the Portuguese. His first season with Wolves has been quite tupsy-turvy but the Reds think he can develop into a world-beater.
Romeo Lavia (Southampton). Lavia is probably not staying at St Mary's as Southampton are going down, and a fee of around £40m would be enough to get him. Chelsea are also interested in the youngster.
