Liverpool were not involved in the FA Cup final but still somehow got involved in the events surrounding the game.
A Man United fan was pictured wearing a No.97 shirt with the caption 'Not enough'.
That immediately drew ire from the Liverpool faithful who took it as a disgusting message referring to the Hillsborough disaster. 97 Liverpool fans lost their lives as a result of the tragedy.
A widespread social media campaign drew the attention of the police who have informed that they arrested the man at the stadium.
Their statement on Twitter reads: 'We are aware of this and have worked proactively with officials at @wembleystadium to identify the individual. He has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and taken into custody.'
If this was really meant as such an insult, we can only hope that the repercussion will be appropriate.
