Cody Gakpo accused of renting property 'not fit for human habitation' with vermin and poor repairs

Cody Gakpo has been accused of neglecting the property he owns in the Netherlands, reports Daily Mirror.

The Liverpool star invests in real estate in five different cities through his company called Samaritan. But although he pockets a solid £130,000-a-week at Liverpool, he is said to keep his properties in a condition 'not fit for human habitation'. Structural problems, vermin infestations, and poor repairs are cited as part of the problem.

According to the source, the rental at Gakpo's property costs up to €875 a month for a basement flat 'riddled with mould. Another apartment, worth €850 a month, is 'so cramped tenants have to walk sideways to squeeze'.

Neither Gakpo nor FC Liverpool have commented on the matter.
