'It was gutting': Doak opens up on missing Euros due to injury

Ben Doak is once again a part of Scotland's squad as they look ahead to a clash with Croatia this week.

Things didn't look great for Doak over the summer as he had to miss out on Scotland's trip to Germany for the Euros as he picked up an injury at the worst possible time.

“It was gutting, of course,” he said. “The injury wasn't too serious, but I just came back a little bit too early.

“Watching the games just kind of drove me on more to try and get in the squad. I'd like to think I would have made a bit of a difference.”
