Liverpool insert 40% sell-on clause in Marcelo Pitaluga's move to Fluminense

Liverpool have sold goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga to Fluminense after he was not able to win over a role in the first-team squad.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Reds managed to insert a huge 40% sell-on clause as part of the agreement for the deal.
That means Fluminense will have to pay Liverpool almost half of the transfer fee they get from potentially selling Pitaluga to another club in the near future.
The 22-year-old joined Liverpool back in 2020 and made 37 appearances for the under-21 side, keeping nine clean sheets.
