Manchester United have confirmed that Angel Gomes is no longer contracted at the club after his Old Trafford deal expired on June 30.
An official statement from the Red Devils reads: "We can confirm that Angel Gomes has not taken up the offer of a new contract and has, therefore, left the club.
"Everybody at Manchester United would like to wish Angel the very best of luck for the future and thank him for his efforts for the club."
Gomes has reportedly turned down a £25,000-a-week contract at Man United after receiving better offers from elsewhere.
The winger is expected to announce his next side in the near future with clubs from Germany, Italy, Portugal and France interested in the Englishman.
A stay in the Premier League is also a possibility as Chelsea are said to be looking to offer the 19-year-old a long-term contract with Frank Lampard personally interested.
