The Swedish goalkeeper turned into superman in goal, making a number of heroic saves to keep his side in the game.
- FC Copenhagen goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson has seen his heroics against Man United rewarded by being named as the Europa League Player of the Week.
- Johnsson was excellent in between the goal for the Danish side, making an incredible 13 saves in the game to frustrate the Red Devils.
- In the end it took a penalty from Bruno Fernandes in extra-time to seal the win for United, but the Swedish goalkeeper earned his plaudits for his masterful work.
- He made a couple of brilliant saves to deny Anthony Martial and earned the respect of many United fans with a sensational performance.
