- However, the Manchester United legend didn't earn a penny during his spell with the Ligue 1 giants with a 100 per cent of his wages going to a children's charity.
- Beckham said back then: "I won't receive any salary: we've decided my salary will go towards a local children's charity in Paris and that's one of the things we're very excited and proud to do."
