'We've been exposed': United fan explains why our attacking problems aren't only about Anthony Martial

After the West Brom win, a concerning stat has emerged: Man United's forwards have registered the lowest conversion rate in the Premier League this season.

However, not all of the supporters believe that Anthony Martial (who's yet to score in the league) is the biggest problem Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has. Here's what FenrirXXVIII, a Man United fan on Reddit, writes on the matter:

"Our forwards don't get enough service. That's much more of a problem than their movement. Some of it is down to tactics, but the quality of players is to blame as well. Let me explain.

"It's clear as day that our full-backs offer nothing in most games. AWB is a traditional defensive full-back and his crossing and general attacking contribution are poor compared to the likes of Walker, Reguilon, Trent, Robertson, etc. Shaw is somehow even less effective. His 2 assists this season were his first two since the 18-19 season.

"On top of that, we're playing 2 defence-minded midfielders - Matic/McTominay + Fred. Our only creative midfielder is Bruno. Ole is hoping that some magic in the final third will unlock low blocks, but we've been exposed so far this season.

"People will say that Martial and Rashford should have put away the one chance each of them had. The issue here is, forwards at a good club should be fed more than one chance a game. Our game plan at the moment is expecting our forwards to be exceptionally clinical + relying on the odd penalty every other game. That's poor."
