When asked about whether he wants to spend another season on loan at Club Brugge after this season, Tahith Chong said: “Staying here for another year could give me stability, but that’s for later.
“As far as I know, there is no option [to extend the loan] in the agreement. We will have to discuss that with Manchester United later.
“I like Belgium. It is a bit like the Netherlands. Something that is in my head: that by staying here maybe a little more stability can come, but it is now difficult to fully focus on that.”
Chong moved to Club Brugge in January after his initial loan move to Werder Bremen before the start of the season didn’t go well. The Dutch winger has made 5 appearances for Brugge so far, registering 4 assists and could indeed go out on loan again next season if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t think he’s ready for first-team football at Man United yet.
