  • The Red Devils have more than five players doubtful after the international break.
  • Lindelof and Martial picked up injuries while playing for their respective national teams.

Anthony Martial

Martial assisted Ousmane Dembele's goal upon his return to the France team but picked up an injury in the second half against Kazakhstan.

He limped off the field and even ignored Kylian Mbappe in the process. However, there is a ray of hope as France boss Didier Deschamps has revealed that it's nothing serious.

Additional treatment will be required as the 25-year-old is still in pain. Since it's a minor injury, we'll have to wait and see if he can make it against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Marcus Rashford

Another player facing a race against time to be fit for April 4 is Rashford, who withdrew from the England squad because of a foot injury.

He has also been facing troubles with his shoulder and may require surgery.

Even if Rashy recovers, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might opt to rest him to avoid burnout.

Mason Greenwood

The youngster was called up for the England U21 squad but he had to withdraw because of an 'unspecified' injury.

The MEN reports that Mason will be further assessed by the club's medical staff to see if he's fit to play.

Greenwood has impressed as a striker in a few games this season and if he recovers in time, he could lead the line on Sunday.

Edinson Cavani

Cavani has missed a number of games lately and it remains to be seen if he's available for our return to the Premier League. It's been reported that club officials are concerned about the striker's overall form.

The 34-year-old has been actively exercising at home during the break to improve his fitness. Hopefully, he will be ready to start against the Seagulls.

Victor Lindelof

Lindelof withdrew from the Sweden squad because of a back problem and that's not good news for us.

The defender has struggled with his back in the past and he played the full 90 minutes against Kosovo and Georgia.

Like Greenwood, we may have to wait for further scans to reveal the extent of his injury.

Eric Bailly

Bailly has been missing through injury for a while now but in Lindelof's absence, we could see him return to the starting XI over the weekend.

The defender has had ample time to recover and hopefully, he will be in line for much-needed game time against Brighton.

Phil Jones

Jones remains out as he continues to recover from knee surgery. His return date is unknown, with Solskjaer calling for fans to be more patient with him.

Juan Mata

Mata picked up an injury towards the end of February and has been out of action ever since.

His contract expires this summer and there has been no news of an extension so far.
