Eric Cantona inducted into Premier League Hall of Fame

Eric Cantona has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame – becoming the first Man United star to do so.

He reacted to it in typical King Eric fashion, saying: “I am very happy and very proud, but at the same time I am not surprised, I would've been surprised not to be elected!”

Cantona becomes the third Premier League legend to be placed in the Hall of Fame after Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer.

The Man United legend made 121 appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League, scoring 55 goals, registering 40 assists and helping Sir Alex Ferguson’s side win 4 PL titles.
