'He could work well for any team using 3 CBs': AC Milan fans share their thoughts on Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot's loan spell at AC Milan is over and the full-back will be heading back to Manchester United in the near future.

And while the Portuguese's long-term future remains unclear, the Rossoneri fans believe that the 22-year-old has been a good signing.

Dalot featured in 32 games for Milan across all competition with Stefano Pioli's side finishing second and securing Champions League football.

gianni_: "It's clear he's much better going forward than defending. He could work well for any team using 3 CBs while he plays out wide. And, if it means anything, I'd rather have Dalot play RM than Castillejo because he can actually beat his man and put in a cross."

bloodship123: "I would disagree and say he has been better at defending for us than going forward, he always hits the defender when he crosses."

__milan227: "Goodbye Diogo. I've rarely seen such a professional player at this young age. You can clearly see that he already played in one (if not two) great clubs so far. Pretty sure he can achieve great things if he continues like that. He is extremely versatile which is probably the thing I love the most about him. Played LB/RB and RM when we needed to defend a bit more."

JJazzhands: "Quick to learn the language, very professional and according to Pioli always works hard during training even if he doesn't get to start. He has won me over and I'd love for him to stay but the asking price is a bit too steep. Wish him well though wherever he ends up."
