The Telegraph: Van de Beek to hold talks with Solskjaer over squad role before start of next season

Donny van de Beek will sit down and hold talks over what his role will be in Man United’s squad before the start of the 2021/22 season, according to the Telegraph.

The Dutchman had a disappointing debut campaign at Old Trafford and wants to know what his position is within the squad ahead of next season.

United’s coaching staff is said to believe that Van de Beek still needs to make improvements in his overall game to be a first-team regular for the club.

Van de Beek only started in 4 Premier League games last season and managed just 1 goal and 2 assists an overall 36 appearances – even though the majority of that came from the bench.
