Speaking to the Times, Jose Mourinho said: "I think they [England's goalkeepers] are good goalkeepers. I don’t think they are phenomenal goalkeepers.
"In Dean Henderson's case, not yet phenomenal. When I say not yet, I say he will be. I met him at Manchester United when he was a kid.
"I always remember him asking me to go on loan. He was saying when I come back, I come back to be the no.1. He told me that when he was the fourth choice."
It's been reported that Jordan Pickford will be England's first-choice goalkeeper at Euro 2020 with Henderson and West Brom's Sam Johnstone serving as back-ups to the Everton shot-stopper.
The 24-year-old future will be decided after the summer's tournament with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer yet to choose between the England international and David De Gea ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
