Explained: How many games Bailly and Amad will miss for United due to AFCON 2022

The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is scheduled to take place between January 9 to February 6 in 2022.

This will mean that Man United’s African stars Eric Bailly and Amad Diallo will have to report for International duty during that period for Ivory Coast.

United have a few Premier League games in January – which the duo will be unavailable for due to international games – and these games are:

15th January - Aston Villa (A)

22nd January - West Ham (H)

Moreover, Bailly and Amad could also miss an FA Cup clash during that period and the Premier League clash against Burnley on February 8 – if Ivory Coast goes all the way to play the AFCON final on February 6.
