Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano spoke about the negotiation process in Man United’s chase to complete the Jadon Sancho deal and said: “For the first time, Manchester United, Dortmund and Jadon Sancho’s camp are optimistic and confident about a deal taking place this summer.
“The two clubs are still negotiating and it’s on United to complete the deal. The Jadon Sancho saga will not be long like last summer.
“If Sancho joins Manchester United, it will be quick negotiations — it will be a matter of weeks and will not last like until the end of August.”
After having their first bid reportedly rejected by Borussia Dortmund, United are said to be ready to make a second offer of about £77m to get the deal done. The Red Devils have already agreed on personal terms with the English winger and Sancho himself is said to be ‘confident’ on joining the club next season.
