Bruno Fernandes criticised for 'strolling' on the pitch as Portugal lose to Germany

Portugal lost 2-4 to Germany in the Euros in what was a disheartening game for Bruno Fernandes and co.

They conceded not one but two own goals and commentator Lee Dixon was not a fan of the Manchester United midfielder's attitude.

During the second half, Dixon said, as quoted by The Metro: "Someone needs to tell Fernandes he’s 3-1 down. He is just strolling on the ball.

"He had a chance then to run into space and commit a few players ahead of him. No energy in his run at all."

A Cristiano Ronaldo goal put Portugal in the driver's seat within the first half an hour but own goals by Ruben Dias and Raphael Guerreiro did the damage.
