ESPN: De Gea wants to stay and 'fight' for his place at Man United (reliability: 4 stars)

David De Gea is not looking to leave Manchester United despite Dean Henderson's emergence, according to ESPN FC.

The Spaniard is ready to 'fight' for his place in the team next season after falling down the pecking order towards the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to choose his first-choice goalkeeper although Henderson will reportedly refuse to spend another season as back-up shot-stopper.

The Red Devils currently have four first-team goalkeepers with Tom Heaton officially joining the club last week and Lee Grant putting pen to paper on a one-year extension.
