It appears that Manchester United are willing to pull out all the stops in order to bring Erling Haaland to Old Trafford.

According to the Mirror, the Red Devils are hoping that extending Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's deal will help them in their pursuit of the Norwegian.

Apparently, club chiefs are convinced that by showing their commitment to Solskjaer, they will acquire 'an edge' in the race for the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Ole and Haaland go way back, with the 21-year-old starting his professional career under the Man United boss at Molde back in 2017. The duo reportedly continue to keep in touch.
