Manchester United have arguably done some of the best transfer deals this summer. However, the same cannot be said of our rivals.
The Red Devils have signed Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane to bolster key parts of the squad. And if we had to include Tom Heaton and rate our incomings, we'd say we did 8/10.
It would be a perfect 10 if we sign a defensive midfielder but that's another matter for another day. Now, let's take a look at how our rivals have fared in the market so far:
Manchester City
Major incomings: Jack Grealish
Major outgoings: Sergio Aguero
It was the end of an era as Aguero left Manchester City but our noisy neighbours are reportedly interested in signing Harry Kane to lead the line.
They have made Grealish the most expensive British transfer but could break that record again if they sign Kane. If that happens though, City will be the clear favourites for the Premier League title.

Arsenal
Major incomings: Ben White
Major outgoings: Dani Ceballos, Martin Odegaard (end of loan), David Luiz
Arsenal made a poor start to the season and there's a lot of pressure on Mikel Arteta as he could potentially be sacked if things don't improve.
The Gunners are no longer considered a major force in English football and it remains to be seen if they can get anywhere near the top six this season. Signing White was smart but they need a proper attacker - someone who can score 15+ goals every term.
They've been linked with Lautaro Martinez and could also sign Odegaard permanently.

Liverpool
Major incomings: Ibrahima Konate
Major outgoings: Georginio Wijnaldum
It's been a less-than-ideal window for Liverpool in terms of both incomings and outgoings. They've lost Wijnaldum for free and have only signed a centre-back so far.
The Merseysiders have also extended long-term deals for Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker.

Chelsea
Major arrivals: Romelu Lukaku
Major outgoings: Tammy Abraham
Last season's Champions League winners have certainly spent big - they've re-signed Romelu Lukaku despite signing Timo Werner only in 2020.
Lukaku won Serie A last term and scored 24 goals in that run.
With two big strikers to lead the line, it will be interesting to see how Chelsea fare. Thomas Tuchel did well to guide them to the big prize last season but can they win the Premier League this time?

Tottenham Hotspur
Major incomings: Cristian Romero, Bryan Gil
Major outgoings: Toby Alderweireld, Gareth Bale (end of loan deal)
With new manager Nuno Espirito Santo in charge, Tottenham may take time to settle in before challenging for the title. Both Romero and Gil are decent additions but it's not enough to win a lot of silverware.
Their troubles will be further compounded if Kane leaves to City this summer.
Rating: 5/10
Leicester City
Major incomings: Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumare, Jannik Vestergaard
Major outgoings: None
Leicester City are pushing to become a top six club and they're not very far.
Their squad looks stronger now, particularly with the addition of Daka - a top striker. Soumare, meanwhile, is a top signing for the midfield, giving the club the tools they need to fight for a spot among the top sides.
Title challenge or not, this has been a successful window for the Foxes.
