'He hasn't got a weakness': Graeme Souness believes Man United shouldn't have sold Romelu Lukaku

"I don’t think Manchester United should’ve ever let him [Romelu Lukaku] go," Graeme Souness told Sky Sports after the Belgian scored a brace on his return to Chelsea.

"He seemed unhappy when he was there [at United], and he’s come back a happy man. He definitely is a key man.

"Goals change games. If you have someone who can nick goals then all of a sudden you’re a different team."

The former Liverpool man continued: "He hasn’t got a weakness. I’m not saying he’s brilliant at everything but he’s got no obvious weakness. If you’re playing against him and you’re a centre-back you’re not going to enjoy it.

"I don’t think anyone will enjoy playing against him, he’s got a bit of everything in his game and he’ll be the difference for them should he stay fit."

Souness seems to have forgotten that we have Cristiano Ronaldo, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani as options to lead the line. There's Anthony Martial, who can be dangerous when in form.

Even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has acknowledged the threat Lukaku poses, despite selling him in 2019.

When Lukaku left United, he was far from his best and needed a change of scenery to regain his form. Fortunately, he's done that and is now one of Chelsea's most lethal players.
