Son reveals soft spot for Man United
Tottenham star Son Heung-min has revealed that Manchester United was his favourite Premier League club growing up — because of Park Ji-sung.
The South Korean said: "Team I supported growing up? Man United because obviously, Ji-sung was playing. He's a national hero. He's a good friend of mine. So I was supporting United, but I can't now."
West Ham referee appointed
Martin Atkinson has been appointed as the referee for Man United's Sunday clash against West Ham away from Old Trafford.
The 50-year-old, who hails from Yorkshire, has taken charge of 46 games involving the Red Devils in the Premier League (26 wins, 11 defeats, 9 draws).
United's losses worsen
In a statement, United revealed their net loss for the year was a whopping £92 million as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
That's a steep rise when compared to the £23 million loss around the same time last year.
Rashford to feature in friendly
Marcus Rashford is expected to take a few more weeks to recover before featuring regularly for the first team again.
Rashy's management team responded the following to a journalist on Twitter: "He's a few weeks off still and will need to get a few games in behind closed doors [friendlies] hopefully."
