Pogba in midfield? Select your favourite Man United XI vs Leicester from 2 options

The Premier League is back after the international break, with Man United due to take on Leicester on Saturday.

The pause could not have come at a better time for the Red Devils who won only one of the last four games across all competitions.

That said, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can't be happy with how it unravelled, with several key players becoming unavailable.

Raphael Varane picked up a groin injury in the Nations League final and will be out for several weeks. His centre-back partner Harry Maguire has just returned to training, and it might be risky to get him involved on Saturday.

Fred and Edinson Cavani played against each other in a World Cup qualifier in the early hours of Friday morning. As a result, Solskjaer can't count on them for tomorrow either.

At the same time, Marcus Rashford is fit and will be involved against Leicester.

So, Solskjaer's choice is limited but what exactly should the team look like? Here's a couple of options for you to consider.

Option 1: Pogba in midfield

In Fred's absence, Solskjaer will likely be tempted to shift Paul Pogba to midfield and free up one slot in the attacking line for the many options he has.

Rashford is one of them now, but it might be a risk to start him after a three-month absence. Jesse Lingard is seemingly in better form than Jadon Sancho now and could be given a nod.

Option 2: Pogba on the wing

Alternatively, Nemanja Matic might be back in the line-up as he is still trusted by Solskjaer to play once in a while. This season, he's only missed three games, although most of his appearances were from the bench.

In any case, Ole can ill afford to bench Ronaldo once again as United are trying to get out of the slump.
