Worrying stat shows why United could really miss Varane's presence in November

Man United has confirmed that Raphael Varane will be out of action for about a month because of a hamstring injury.

The Frenchman suffered it during the 2-2 draw against Atalanta and could miss as many as the next 6 games.

The Red Devils have really struggled without Varane this season, having lost 4 of the 5 matches he’s missed since making his debut against Wolves.

In comparison, United has been victorious in 5 of the 8 games in which he’s played this season – losing only once with him in the team.

The Red Devils will probably have to rely on Eric Bailly or Victor Lindelof to make up for his absence and for captain Harry Maguire to significantly pick up his game.
