As per The Sun, a tier-three source, Phil Jones is being 'targetted by 13 clubs' for a possible transfer in the upcoming January window.
Clubs like Watford, Newcastle United and Derby County - managed by Wayne Rooney - are all interested in his services.
Jones has been out of action for 22 months after undergoing knee surgery. He was involved in a couple of closed-doors friendlies but is yet to make an appearance for the first team.
A decision on the centre-back's future, however, could only be made around Christmas. The Sun claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hesitant to risk squad depth, considering injuries could strike at any moment amid a hectic schedule.
Jones earns £130,000-a-week and is tied to Manchester United till 2023. It remains to be seen if he's allowed to leave either on a loan or permanently anytime soon.
