'When he doesn't play they seem nice': Gary Neville believes Man United missed Cavani in Man City defeat

Speaking on Sky Sports after Saturday's Manchester derby, Gary Neville said: "Manchester United have no courage.

"Without Edinson Cavani they look less of a team. He seems to have that fight to play for the club and when he doesn't play they seem nice, and nice isn't good enough."

Cavani, who scored in the 3–0 win against Tottenham last week, was left on the bench for the Atalanta game and missed the Manchester City clash altogether.

Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood started alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in those matches as part of the 3-4-1-2 formation with both Englishmen failing to score a goal.

The Uruguayan is said to be struggling with muscle pain but the 34-year-old striker is expected to return after the international break when the Red Devils travel to Watford on November 20.
