Rangnick rejected Man United at first & 3 more under-radar stories at Old Trafford today

Martial backed to make Man United 'unstoppable'

"On their game, no one can touch that front four or five. [Anthony] Martial, when he’s on top form, he is unplayable," Louis Saha told The Metro.

"When Manchester United eventually find the right formula and things click – especially in their heads where at the minute there's too much overthinking – those players are unstoppable when they play naturally."

Rangnick accepts new terms after initial rejection

Rafael Rangnick has flown to the United Kingdom at the start of the week and rejected Man United's initial offer, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils have then offered new terms to the German and 63-year-old agreed to become the interim manager until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Pochettino urged to leave PSG and join Man United

Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher said on CBS Sport: "[Mauricio] Pochettino has to get out of the club [Paris Saint-Germain].

"If he has the chance to go to Man United, I would be gone tomorrow and i'’s because of those three stars [Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe]."

Neville slams Man United's managerial search

Gary Neville has criticised the Glazers' decision to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer without having a proper replacement for the Norwegian manager at the ready.

He told Sky Sports: "They didn't have a plan for the next manager. The reality is they've been caught out again, they've been caught out in the last few weeks, they've not known what to do, they've been indecisive."
