Isn’t it ironic that a Man Utd thoroughbred, who we thought would spurn the transition from the academy to the main team, never actually allowed the young players to thrive?
Just two matches in and we’re reading about Amad and Elanga starting. I can feel the buzz in the dressing room right now, the optimism, the zeal to do the utmost best because they know it would be rewarded. 
Nothing kills passion more than putting in the shift, week in, week out, only to be kept on the sidelines, while someone you know you’re better than, gets the nod.
I am happy for the youngsters and the fringe players because they will be rewarded for their hard work.
