'They are fortunate De Gea has been in such good form': Man United told to appreciate Spaniard more

Speaking to the Daily Mail, former Blackburn Rovers and Celtic striker Chris Sutton said: "Who's the goalkeeper who's made the most saves in the Premier League this season?

"It's David de Gea. His goal is being peppered. Manchester United are fortunate he's been in such good form, otherwise, they'd be lower in the table than they already are.

"After 19 games last season, Man United were top on 40 points. Now they are seventh on 31, despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane."

De Gea has won back the starting XI place from Dean Henderson this season, once again establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the country.

The Spaniard has featured in 25 games across all competitions so far this season, conceding 34 goals but doing his best behind the leaky defence.
