Man United congratulate Donny van de Beek for 50-game milestone: Here's how much he actually played

Manchester United fans were in disbelief after the official Twitter account shared a post congratulating Donny van de Beek for reaching the 50-game milestone.

We still don't why we signed him but the tweet is incredibly tone-deaf and silly when there's so much controversy over the midfielder's lack of game time.

Reaching a half-century of appearances doesn't account for much when you play hardly a few minutes in each game.

In 2020/21, Donny played 1,456 minutes and this term, he's played only 380 minutes so far. That's a total of 1,764 minutes which approximately boils down to just 19 or 20 full games (playing for full 90 mins).
