Amad Diallo was handed a rare start during Rangers' 3-1 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League this Saturday.

However, the teenager was substituted at the half an hour mark after centre-back Leon Balogun received a red card.

Considering Amad's struggles for Rangers since joining on loan in January, the manager decided to sacrifice the Manchester United loanee. He then brought on defender Calvin Bassey to add to the backline.

This does not bode well for Amad, who actually started his first league game since February.

So far, the youngster has played just eight games - out of which three came in the top flight.

He's expected to return to Old Trafford at the end of this season and could head out on another loan.
